Self Love and Compassion

Our Altar
When I moved back to Sonoma in December, I began a new morning ritual. I started meditating again. Sometimes I use a guided meditation, sometimes just music or silence. My morning meditations are short, about ten to twelve minutes. After making my bed, having my first cup of coffee, I start the meditation.
It is a time for me to release stress, troubled dreams, emotions, tears, and practice and feel deep  compassion and self-love for myself and love for others. During the guided meditations, there is a teaching at the end, that is always helpful, a focus or intention for the day that I can come back to.
